Coastal Currents is the flagship arts festival for Hastings and has been produced by John Knowles (36-Hours co-director) for the last 5 years. Coastal Currents is a contemporary visual and live arts festival which promotes and supports local creative activity as well as co-commissioning new works by external companies. This year's Festival will run from the 29 August through to the 21 September and will include an array of Open Studios, the Uk premiere of 'Le Grand Peep Show' by Corpus,  theatre in the Castle with Third Party Productions 'Fair Maid of the West' and Shakespeare in the Park from local performers Eyeline Productions plus street arts and live arts performances, full details of all events and a downloadable brochure go to the Coastal Currents website at www.coastalcurrents.org.uk for a brochure
